Installation is quick and straightforward, requiring only a 10mm hole to be drilled in a discreet location, such as behind the TV or near the satellite receiver. We recommend first drilling a small pilot hole from inside the caravan to confirm the position. Before drilling, always check that there are no cables, pipes or obstructions between the internal and external walls.

While drilling into a new caravan can seem daunting, this simple DIY installation can be completed in just a few minutes and may save you the cost of professional installation.

Once the hole has been drilled through the wall, insert the fitting from inside the caravan until the internal wall plate sits flush against the surface. On the exterior side, fit the weatherproof rubber washer, stainless steel washer and retaining nut to securely fasten the fitting in place.

When not in use, the external connection is protected by a weatherproof silicone cap that helps prevent the ingress of dirt, dust and rain. Providing a low-loss connection and fast installation, this fitting has become one of the most popular cable entry solutions for caravans and RVs.
