What is the UXG-Lite?

The UXG-Lite is a standalone UniFi security gateway that provides enterprise-grade routing, firewall protection and VPN services for UniFi networks. It is designed as the successor to the original UniFi Security Gateway (USG).

Does the UXG-Lite include the UniFi Network controller?

No. Unlike the UniFi Express or Cloud Gateway Ultra, the UXG-Lite does not include the UniFi Network application. It must be managed using a Cloud Key, Official UniFi Hosting, or a self-hosted UniFi Network Server.
