Position a compatible USB peripheral further from your computer with the USB-Ext-U1 USB-over-data extender. The sender and receiver pair use a Cat5e or Cat6 cable between them, with a maximum extension distance of 45 metres.
Key features
- USB 1.1 connection for compatible peripherals.
- Up to 45m extension over suitable network cable.
- USB-A male connection at the computer and USB-A female connection for the peripheral.
- Suitable for keyboards, mice and compatible USB 1.1 printers.
- No separate external power supply required.
Check compatibility before ordering
This is a USB 1.1 extender; it does not provide USB 2.0 high-speed or USB 3.x transfer rates. Choose a different extender if your device requires those speeds. Achievable distance depends on cable quality and the connected device.
Run the network cable directly between the two adapters. The RJ45 connection carries the extender signal and is not an Ethernet network connection.
